Peter is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional whose background spans over 22 years with major investment banks, where he held senior positions in treasury management. The depth of his experience enables Peter to add tremendous value to both individual and small business clients. Peter works with clients from all walks of life, and serves a large number of executives and lawyers. “You have to like helping people to be successful in this business,” says Peter. He takes the time to truly listen to his clients, and to get to know their families and their aspirations.
Peter spent over 18 years at Morgan Stanley where he held several positions based in New York and London. Peter managed their Funding Desk in New York, where he was responsible for issuing the firm’s short and medium-term debt. During his tenure there, Morgan Stanley grew significantly, with financing volumes expanded from less than $500 million to over $10 billion.
Peter spent three years in London as Treasurer for Morgan Stanley International. During this period the firm’s European staff more than doubled and the balance sheet reached $50 billion. He led the initiative to raise multi-currency debt in the European markets. Peter was responsible for hedging the firm’s currency risk, cash management and insurance for operations in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg and Milan.
Peter returned to New York to become Treasurer of Morgan Stanley Trust Company, the global custody division, where he led the effort to build a $130 million revenue center for cash management, foreign exchange and securities lending.
Peter’s experience also includes managing a financing and trading desk at Barclays Capital and Global Treasurer for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette’s Pershing Division. He holds a BS in Finance from Villanova University and a MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and he is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Peter and his family reside in Berkeley Heights, NJ. He also owns a second home in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and he aspires to spend more time servicing his clients who have moved to the southeast. Outside the office, Peter enjoys playing soccer and follows college basketball.
